I’m not a big shopaholic, but my weakness is fabric stores. Even if I don’t buy a thing, I like to just walk around and touch the different textures. I might treat myself to a few yards of something on sale, but that is about it.

I just need to get around to sewing everything up now.

I am not a typical shopper like going to the mall or anything- my get away is grocery shopping. The thrill of the hunt? BOGO and free stuff. I have gotten so good at it, my freezer is full as well as pantry. My last ’score’ was getting free coupons for creamer(coffee) I had 60 coupons I got from a lady that knew someone who worked for Nestle- goodness, I have coffee creamer for years and have given it away.
Like Tara before me, my thing is to prepay- I like to do that too. My husband is a carpenter so I take the money he makes in busy season and prepay bills through the winter!
I dont buy alot for myself- I like simple things-maybe thats why I like bloggie contests. Small things in the mail make me happy Oftentimes, I even use those as gifts but I like getting boxes and opening them.It makes me smile.

I think I do both. When I am feeling down all I can think about is shopping, I just want to buy one thing online, anything! But other times I just want to shop, either way I love to shop, I love to shop with people I love to shop for anything, even grocery’s (that’s if I’m super desperate). I have a friend that says when she has a lot of money she feels really frugal but when the end of the month hits and they don’t have very much all she can do is shop and buy new clothes for herself! I think it does help us regulate feelings of stress and depression. Interesting study!

Not me! LOL.. I would love to be a spender but I am sooooo much of a “gotta be paid early and extra” and the fact that I don’t like spending on myself cuts down my shopping. I’m definately not a splurger although a sale is tempting..

I buy what is needed and leave the rest up to christmas and birthdays for family purchase minus the few good boy/girl treats here and there for my kids.

Tax return you ask?I prepaid my rent 4 months and my electric 3 months, bought parts etc. I guess thats my OCD for ya!

I DON’T SHOP FOR ME! Thats pretty much the sum of that!

Well although the money is a little tighter only because of raising prices at the grocery stores and as stations. but I still shop for the great deal, but my fad is scrapbooking, I am always looking for the perfect paper, perfect embellishment. Never have enough paper though, but just about enough to open my own store. I never pay full price only buy when 50% off even before the recession.

Oh yeah, retail therapy has always been my saving grace. Until the past year or two. Now it’s been months since I’ve headed to the mall, however I haven’t given up hope that those days will be back again! Now I am all about the bargain and only the bargains lol! I could go crazy at Recessionista Party with all those great deals, and as soon as the economy picks up a bit more I will just don’t let my hubby know that just yet – don’t want to scare him too much!
