A few months ago, I received an email from a blog follower regarding the possibility to orchestrate a Recessionista Fundraiser on her behalf. Meet Rebecca Larson and her darling family as they make their journey to adoption for baby #3. This is their third time through the adoption process and with the cost involved with such a journey, Rebecca began searching for creative fundraising opportunities, ones that were different and that would benefit all those willing to contribute to her cause.
In her words,
“What can we say? We are ultra-advocates for adoption. In 2004 our lives were blessed by the adoption of Isaac, and a couple of years later Porter joined our family (also by adoption). A few months ago, we decided to pursue adoption again. After the warm fuzzy feelings of this decision came, the reality decided to set in. Where would the money come from? I am a stay at home momma, and wanted a way that I could contribute to our venture. I decided to turn to some “creative financing” that could help us offset some of our costs. I decided on a fundraiser.
I wanted to do something different, that my friends and family would enjoy purchasing not because they felt they had too, but because it was something they really wanted.
Then while blog surfing, I came across Recessionista Party! The heavens opened:) and I found a way that I could raise some money, and invite my friends and family to find some awesome deals on what every woman loves (shoes, purses and accessories), and that is when I decided to get my own group of friends and family involved.”
Tonight is the night and Ogden Utah is the location. In the area and want to stop by to see the trailer full of goodies? Join us at the Marriott Slaterville Community Center, 1570 W. 400 N. (just off I-15, exit 346). Wanna contribute to her cause and purchase something online? Use the code “rebecca” at checkout for a 15% discount.
At Recessionista, we have several different creative fundraising options and will work closely to tailor each one to fit your specific needs. Regardless of your cause, we would love to discuss all options with you. Email us at info@Recessionista (dot) com for more information.

That’s known that money can make people independent. But how to act when someone doesn’t have cash? The one way only is to get the credit loans and short term loan.
