Warehouse Sale Countdown – 6 days

This weekend I had to attend a graduation party and nothing in my closet fit the way I wanted it to or achieved the casual, but still put together look that I was going for. I actually made a pit stop at the mall on the way to the party to choose an outfit and a necklace that made me feel more put together and, in turn, more confident. On the way to the party I found myself regretting the purchase just a little, but not enough to take it back! I was just thinking about how much money I could save if I did some bargain hunting (even when a party isn’t coming up) and stocked up on Recessionista Jewelry. I could be storing away these little surprises in my closet for days when I need a pick-me-up. Not only will it save me the time and the stress of rushing to the mall while en route to a party, but my wallet will thank me too. So I vow to buy more (but better thought out) designer jeans, handbags, shoes and jewelry. But I also vow to not wear all of them immediately after purchase. Instead, I will save some for a rainy day when nothing in my closet is new enough to make me feel put together and confident.
