Yesterday,I picked up the Handbook of Style (pictured left). I paid just $6 for this gem (at Francesca’s Collections) and I think that it’s going to spark a lot of interesting conversation here on the Recessionista blog. With topics like “How to spot a comfortable and sexy shoe” and “How to tie a scarf like a French woman,” I think this book will fit right into the Recessionista family.

Over the last week we’ve received such great feedback. You’ve told us what your families are like, what you enjoy reading about and so much more. We plan on going through all of your comments in the coming weeks and putting that information to good use. My personal favorite day was 6 days ’til giveaway. You ladies (and the occasional gentleman) shared your favorite blogs and websites. I must say that the sites you shared are fantastic! There is so much to read; I only wish I had more time.
