Imagine my joyous response on a rainy Tuesday morning when – while on my search for fashion news- I found that flats are officially in style for Spring! Naturally, I wear flats regardless of whether or not they are in style. No matter how much I write about fashion, comfort trumps all. But when I get to have fashion and comfort…well it’s a cause for celebration!

And I quote…

“The detailed and embellished ballet flats, sandals and peep-toes are a serious alternative to the high heels that some women still feel are needed for dressy or business occasions.”

I know that some of you ladies can rock pumps all week long. More power to you! But this recent announcement is cause to revamp my shoe closet in favor of comfort and fashion! But first I needed some inspiration. Here are a few of my favorite finds…

April showers came a little early this year and while I would love to be rocking a pair of BCBG pumps, the weather leaves me no choice but to slip into something a little more practical. I spent the morning looking for a little inspiration for a rainy day….
