After my genius (though not completely unheard of) plan to Spring to us into next season, I wanted to see which celebs are rocking (or at least trying to rock) this look. My findings were a little disappointing (in my humble Recessionista opinion). I am certain that most of you ladies have better taste in headbands. I know that most of the country is months away from the gorgeous Spring weather that even the most passionate snowbirds start to long for. While most of us can’t exactly slip into a Spring dress just yet, you can make it feel a little more like Spring with a floral headband. We regularly discuss the joys of headbands and now we’re adding one more joy to the list. A floral headband can make it feel like Spring, even when we haven’t quite seen the last of Winter!

Where are your purchasing your floral headbands? Do you have some other secrets to making it feel just a little bit warmer, even if only in the fashion sense? Tell us in the comments!

I’ve never been one to wear much of anything on my head. Whether it’s hot or cold I weather the weather without anything on my head for fear of messing up my hair. (After all, my hair looks better in the dead of Winter than in any other season.) However, Recessionista’s new head wraps inspired me to do a little fashion searching (kind of like soul searching, but for fashion).

Much like the passion for headbands that I uncovered this year, ear warmers, headbands and even hats dress up your ‘do no matter how dirty (ok, maybe there are limits to how dirty it can really be, but come on ladies, be reasonable), flat or puffy it is.
