Since we’re talking about headbands, how about cheap and easy ways to store the lovelies?
Decorative Bolster Pillows from Banner Boutique.

Or re-purpose your empty oatmeal carton into something fabulous. An easy tutorial found here. In helping my S-I-L get a display ready for a boutique, I made one myself and it was super easy and turned out perfect!

See how cute?

Thanks to a reader for leaving this link on making your own headband
And another easy tutorial found here.
Speaking of headbands, I’d like to give one to a commenter on yesterday’s post.
Sheryl Coe Says:
I LOVE seeing women in headbands. I’m just not sure it I can pull them off, or have enough guts too! (sigh) Sometimes I just wish I was more daring in my wardrobe/accessory choices, because I am SO digging the zipper flower headband styles right now.
Sheryl – email me your info….a zipper headband is coming your way!
And I’m giving another one to the first person to successfully answer the following three questions about me correctly. You can submit as many entries as you like but all three questions must have the correct answers in the same comment. Make sense?
With your first entry, please visit our shop and tell me your favorite headband along with your answers.
Questions and your trying to answer them about me not you:
- What did I eat for breakfast?
- What book am I currently reading?
- When is my birthday?
Good luck and have a great weekend!

In honor of my organizational obsession that has consumed my 2010 so far, I would like to share with you one of my favorite blogs. One thing I love about the blogging world is that there is an endless supply of fantastic ideas, fabulous products, more talent than I ever knew existed and inspiration that can last a lifetime.
IMO (or in my opinion), Kate’s a Design Recessionista, meaning she knows how to create a fabulous place to dwell without breaking the bank. She’s savvy and smart with an eye for all things beautiful. In addition, her blog is cleverly (makes me think of Beverly) written with enough information an ideas to keep one browsing and dreaming for days.
I came across her blog in it’s early days and have absorbed her creativity like a dry withered sponge. She inspires me and makes me believe that all things are possible. I have followed her tips, implemented my own ideas and have been completely amazed at my inner creativity that was begging for a way out.

I link to her today because we have simultaneously shared the O-bug to get our house in order by simplifying and eliminating the clutter in our lives. Thus, she has some fantastic ideas pertaining to this subject and I’m enjoying sponging up her information once again.
There’s a beauty in all things orderly, but naturally, to enjoy the order the chaos must exist. Opposition always makes me appreciate the side I crave and enjoy the most. For tomorrow’s post, I plan to show some uniquely stylish ways to keep yourself organized with an incredible offer from the Recessionista pocket purse/wallet stash I have dying for a home.
PS…..I want to have my home office look like this:

And don’t forget to vote in the poll for future giveaways or I will decide for you:)
